Canterbury League Club is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our friendly and supportive team on a casual or permanent basis. 

About the Role…

In this role you will primarily be supporting the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in operational requirements across all Canterbury outlets, whilst ensuring departmental objectives are met.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake the following duties: 

• Produce exceptional results across our food and beverage outlets
• Consistently create quality products in line with standard recipe cards
• Deliver an outstanding level of service
• Have a flexible approach to adapting to guest requests
• Multitask and work under pressure without compromising quality
• Prepare and produce menu items for service in cohesion with the kitchen brigade during busy service periods. 
• Actively supporting the kitchen team on service standards, techniques and procedures

Do you have what it takes to raise the bar? What will make you stand out...

• Formal qualifications in Commercial Cookery
• Previous experience in similar establishments
• Safe Food Handling Certification
• Demonstrated experience of working in a high-volume kitchen
• Strong knowledge of HACCP
• Outstanding communication skills
• Ability to work both autonomously and also in a team environment
• Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Full working rights in Australia
